Borusan Energy has been established as the energy arm of Borusan Holding at the end of the 2007. Borusan Holding has identified energy as one of its core business segments going forward.

Borusan Enerji intends to be a leading player focused on renewable energy in the rapidly developing Turkish electricity generation sector in the near future through completion of investments in its current portfolio as well as pursuing further growth opportunities.

Borusan Enerji continues to invest in Bandırma WEPP and Yedigöl-Aksu HEPP. These projects are projected to come on line in 2010 and 2011.

Bandırma Wind Energy Power Plant is a 60MW wind farm project and to generate over 238 GWh per year of electricity. Yedigöl-Aksu Project with an installed capacity of 50 MW is projected energy production of 156 GWh per year.
