| Borusan Mannesmann Boru (BMB) has initiated an investment plan to commission a new production facility with an annual production capacity of 250,000 tons in Gemlik/Turkey. The new facility will produce large diameter line pipes and expected to be commissioned by 2011 with an investment cost of 90 million USD. The new investment will put BMB into a stronger position in the large diameter line pipe industry. |

| TAZLAR VILLAGE PRESENTS TURKEY WITH A MODEL RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT |

A rural development project, carried out by the TEMA Foundation with the support of Borusan Group Founder and Honorary Chairman Asım Kocabıyık, retrenched the threat of soil erosion while boosting agricultural productivity by up to 50% at the Tazlar Village, Afyonkarahisar. The project, with 12 years and a total of TL 2.3 million in the making, encompassed the building of a small lake, 2 km of drainage piping, 12 km of irrigation channels, 18 km of roads and infrastructure of the village in addition to thousands of trees planted. Population in the village, which had plummeted down to 360 in 1997 reached 1.600 by the completion of the project also including periodic residences. 600 farmers have been trained at the newly established Asım Kocabıyık Farmer Training Center. |

| AHMET KOCABIYIK GIVEN KENNEDY CENTER HONOR |

| Sponsor of artistic activities and artists worldwide, International Committee on the Arts of the prestigious Kennedy Center convened in Turkey this year. Kennedy Center's annual "Gold Medal," awarded since 2005, was given to a person from Turkey this year. This year's recipient of the award was Borusan Holding Chairman of the Board Ahmet Kocabıyık for his efforts in promoting Anatolian cultural heritage in international platforms, his support to arts and classical music, and the innovative approach he introduced in the field. |

| 37TH INTERNATIONAL İSTANBUL MUSIC FESTIVAL |

| At the promotion campaign of the 37th International İstanbul Music Festival, organized under Borusan Holding's main sponsorship, the 'new generation of audience" of the festival took the stage. Children of festival audience and friends of Borusan Kültür Sanat between the ages 1-3 participated in the photo shootings for the campaign. Festival posters, combining the excitement of the festival with the children's hopes will be on display throughout İstanbul. The opening concert of the festival on Friday evening, June 5th will be broadcast live on a giant display to be set up in Caddebostan and on www.borusan.com web site with the goal of bringing classical music to wider masses. |

| BORUSAN AND EnBW AG ESTABLISHED PARTNERSHIP IN ENERGY SECTOR |

| Borusan Holding and EnBW Energie Baden – Württemberg AG, third biggest energy company of Germany, gave information on their partnership in Turkish energy sector. Equal partners in energy, Borusan and EnBW Energie Baden – Württemberg AG, will make a total investment of 2000 MW, mostly in renewable energy sources. The total amount of investments to be made in mid term will reach EUR 2.5 billion. |
