Since the day the Company was founded over 65 years ago, Borusan has adopted as one of its primary principles the concept of giving back to the community with which it does business.  While on the one hand Borusan is committed to doing its job well, making its resources widely available and creating value for Turkey, on the other hand the Company has enthusiastically accepted the responsibility of helping society in areas where the government falls short.  In fulfilling its social responsibilities, Borusan has made a strategic decision to focus on education, culture and the arts.

In order to better fulfill its social responsibility vision, the activities of the Asım Kocabıyık Culture and Education Foundation, which was founded in 1992, and Borusan Culture and Arts, established in 1997, came together under one roof in 2008 to become the Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation.
