The Borusan Academy acts with the vision of raising business leaders who generate value. In Borusan, the concept of a "business leader" is beyond the hierarchy of a simple business organization structure. It is believed that all of the employees are leaders in their business they are responsible for regardless of the level of the organization in which they work in Borusan.
Our Mission
In Borusan Academy, the aim is to raise business leaders, who are strategy focused, consistent with common values, high quality oriented, and able to initiate organizational transformation through programs that allow for progressive development by establishing a high performance culture.
Education and Development
The educational and developmental programs which will create a significant difference for Borusan members in means of business processes and personal development are designed by the Borusan Academy. In the scope of "Group Orientation Program" and "Fundamental Program of Borusan", 14 –days of education is given, spread out over a period of two years. All the members of the Borusan family may take part in any personal development program in accordance with their personal progress. The Leadership and Sales Faculty programs are jointly offered with the assistance of Sabancı University, Executive Development Unit. They consist of various certification programs which include long-term postgraduate level education and development topics prepared by locally and internationally renowned experts in their fields.
• The Leadership Faculty: It is established for the purpose of training leaders who, under changing circumstances, are able to determine strategy by managing information, use resources for the attainment of results, manage change, and are capable of continually developing themselves as well as their team.
• Sales Faculty: It is created with the mission of establishing sales teams that achieve sustainable growth while maintaining a customer oriented approach that is flexible enough to meet changing customer needs and expectations even in an environment of constant competition.
• Six Sigma Faculty: The Borusan Group, including all group companies, applies Six Sigma methodology and reflects it on all business processes in the most efficient way. The educational process, which is offered by in-house experts are designed for adopting and applying Six Sigma applications by all employees.
'Best New Corporate University'
During the 2008 Cubic Awards Ceremony (Corporate University Best in Class), which is attended by many other corporate universities and companies offering educational consulting, the Borusan Academy received an honorary award in the category of "Best New Corporate University".
